The temple of Appolo Didyma

The Temple of Apollo at Didyma was made around 300 B.C. The temple was recongnized as a dipteral temple, Quote "a term that refers to the two sets of columns surounding the interior setion" ancientgreece.com. The columns surounded a small chamber that had a statue of Appolo inside. The temple also had Iconic columns reaching up to 64 ft. high! These columns tell us that the tempe is indeed an Iconic temple.
